Flagpole Garden
The flagpole garden was planted in 2000 by The Glastonbury Garden Club Youth Committee.
In 2022, the garden was redesigned. Newer, low maintenance, and slower-growing dwarf shrub varieties were planted to replace the original shrubs which had become overgrown. The new shrubs in the front of the garden are Andromeda Cavatine Dwarf. The taller plants on each side are False Cyprus “fernspray gold”.
In addition to the original rose bush, daylilies and annuals provide color. The plants at the back of the garden nearest the building are Dwarf Japanese Helereii Holly [Ilex crenata].
This garden is maintained by the members of The Glastonbury Garden Club.
